2020 Lean In Women in the Workplace Study, Featuring Rachel Thomas, CEO and Co-Founder, Lean In

We are extremely honored and privileged to welcome Rachel Schall Thomas, CEO & Co-founder of Lean In, the non-profit organization helping women achieve their ambitions and work to create an equal world, as our expert webinar speaker.

Lean In recently released their Sixth Annual Women in the Workplace 2020 study with McKinsey, examining the state of women in corporate America. The findings are startling.

The Covid-19 crisis has disrupted corporate America, and women—especially mothers, senior-level women and Black women—have faced distinct challenges. One in four women are considering downshifting their careers or leaving the workforce due to Covid-19.

Without bold steps, Lean In and McKinsey say, we could erase all the progress we’ve made toward gender diversity in the six years of this study. But if companies rise to the moment, we can lay the foundation for a more flexible and equitable workplace in the long-term.

Join us as we go in-depth on the findings as Rachel Thomas and HR Acuity’s CEO Deb Muller review what’s new this year, with a specific focus on action and solutions:

  • The new challenges that women are facing in corporate America today
  • The unique impact that COVID-19 has had on women of different races and ethnicities, working mothers, women in senior leadership and women with disabilities
  • Specific recommendations on actions your organization can take

This discussion is crucial for anyone committed or looking to strengthen their commitments to eliminating gender bias and discrimination in the workplace.
